PT Lapindo Brantas is subsidiary of PT Energy Mega Persada Tbk, a public listed company, owned by Bakrie Group.Currently Lapindo Brantas is being watched due to mud eruption on Banjar Panji-1, its gas mining site in Porong, Sidoarjo, East Java. The exploration is executed by Alton International Indonesia.
Banjar Panji I is part of Brantas mining block. The block is owned by Lapindo Brantas (50 percent), Medco Energy Oil and Gas (32 percent), and Santos (18 percent).
